The aim of the gathering isn’t clear, the group are completely silent when called upon, time runs out…

The essentials of great communication and training are at everyone's fingertips, we just might not know it yet.

That’s why I founded ‘Checking for Understanding’. I’m passionate about using my skills and experience to upskill people who are experts in their craft with the specific, concrete, actionable essentials of good teaching and training so others become experts too.

I am a values-driven professional with several years of experience in the sectors of education, healthcare & aged care and community services. Through study and professional roles, I have honed my strong training and facilitation skills. I thrive on the opportunity to connect with and lead individuals and teams towards meaningful impact. I am passionate about building the communication capacity of professionals working in diverse sectors so that they can be sure of deep engagement and thorough grasp of the relevant content by their audience.
